Since LPL was established as a Debt Collection Agency in 1978, and with head offices based in Essex, we have gained an enviable reputation as specialists in Business to Business Debt Recovery and ancillary Debt Collection services.

The initial concept of the original partnership was to offer a service designed specifically to fill a gap in the complex area of efficient credit control.

For over 38 years LPL has maintained the same modus operandi, on a simple principle:

Most overdue accounts are collectable. However, they require the correct inducement to effect collection. Therefore any third party action must retain goodwill while offering cost effectiveness coupled with reliability.

Via a third party approach we ensure that we manage and monitor the effective movement towards fast recovery of your slow paying or problem accounts whether commercial debt or consumer debt.

Ultimately, with costs and risks in mind, our dedicated team is personally at hand to advise you, thus reducing the risk of disputed or defended actions, allowing us to successfully collect the debt prior to legal proceedings.

Our Objective:

To initiate a collection procedure with same day action, allowing our account handlers to secure payment on your behalf. We will endeavour to establish direct contact and ascertain the exact cause of non payment while ensuring movement towards resolving queries, disputes and cash flows.

To create an effective partnership, acting as a continued extension of your credit control department, ensuring quicker cash flow and protection of your relationship with customer, building towards a future respect of your payment terms.

The Directors are Alan Levene MCICM, Stephen Lewis FCICM and Gavin Levene MCICM.

Stephen, a former president of the Credit Services Association, and Alan who has an enviable reputation within the Litigation and Book debt collection arena.

Alan and Stephen each have over 36 years of industry knowledge and expertise and with Gavin, who has been with LPL in a senior capacity for more than 25 years combine to offer unique commercial collection expertise.
